Illustrator CS5 upgrade

I have mac os x 10.8.5. I'm trying to install illustrator upgrade CS5. The upgrade disk doesn't work. It pops back out of the slot. Thank you.

Try installing by downloading instead of using the disk.  You can find downloads available thru the following link:
