Am receiving this message when attempting to register a C++ CFX tag.
You must configure your application server to enable native CFX support. For instructions, see "Configuring ColdFusion" in the "Configuring and Administering ColdFusion" book for your application server.

Java CFX's register correctly. Have never experienced this with previous CF versions. Can't find any mention in the above or online documentation.

How do I fix this?

cf_dev2 - thanks for the help.

The compat c++ libraries must be installed. C++ CFXs can be registered. Normally, we install most all development libraries when configuring a new box , guess we missed them this time.

I'm getting the same error on my Windows 7 64 with CF10 x32 (built in webserver) as well.

The link mentioned in earlier in this chain doesn't work.

Does anyone know where I can find a solution?
