On Vista the folder is found here: C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash

Have you gone through the steps on this technote yet?

I have the same problem. I have read and tried the recommendations in the technote, with no luck.

I am using Vista Ultimate. In Firefox I have sound (Verified by a Flash Sudoku Puzzle), then after opening a site with video whether embedded or opens in it's own window.... I loose sound in Firefox. Sound will still work in IE or other applications. Sometimes the video plays without sound most other times the video starts then stops yet you see that the video is still loading through the buffering measurement in the particular player.

This has been going on for several months now and becoming very frustrating.

    Please help!
