Full Screen problem

Feb 1, 2008 7:19 AM

I was able to play movies before in a full screen mode, but recently it started freezing video content when I click on open to fuul screen icon. I reinstalled 9.0.115.0 player and reinstalled activeX, still no help. Maybe I should install an older player? If yes, where do I find an older version?
Thanks

I have the same problem, runnig Vista business. It has been previouly working, but probably after a Windows update or for an unknown reason, the full screen mode is not working. the player is working but in fullscreen I get only the sound, the screen is either black or grey, but no video. I tried to uninstall, reinstall with the administrator account, but it's still not working.
Waiting for a fix either from Adobe or Microsoft.

Added later: ------> My friends there is a simple fix:

    - on the video, right click.
    - select settings
    - click the tab Display (little painting brush)
    - UNCHECK : enable hardware acceleration.

    Now it works. : ;-))

When I installed 9.0.115.0 approximately 3 weeks ago, I discovered that I could no longer access videos in full screen. I therefore used System Restore to return to a date prior to installing this version. Everything worked normally but in the last few days IE continually crased. I have now installed 9.0.115.0 again, and have lost my full screen capability again. I have been advised to ditch Adobe in favour of another program, but would have thought Adobe could have sorted this out by now. I am also surprised there are not more replies to this thread!

I'm also having this issue, Vista Business Flash 9 R115. I'm beginning to get tired of waiting for a fix, this is extremely frustrating.

    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/messageview.cfm?forumid=4 4&catid=184&threadid=1345446&enterthread=y

There is a workaround posted by me in there.

I think its a problem with the player and its compatibility with the service packs rather than the Os itself.

Its really strange but I was having the sane problem and was getting so flustrated I considered paying someone to look over my system but first I used system restore to roll back to a working setting which was okay for about a week but then we came across the same issue again. Ive done a clean install of xp and installed the latest player and its fine now making me think there is a conflict there.
