You can subscribe to the forum topics by clicking 'Receive email notifications' on the right side under Actions. I think if you vote for the bugbase issue, you will also receive notifications when it's updated. (Not 100% sure though.)

Hi, I don't get any. Here is my forum setup. I turned it off in the forum sidebar...stop e-mail notifications... and in "Your Stuff"...Preferences. My forum sidebar currently looks like this: e-mail notification preferences currently look like this...be sure to hit "save" to update the change.

on windows, i was told the notifications only trigger after a restart. if you are looking for a solution to roll out player as an admin, you could use Background updates from an internal server. search for that term in the admin guide. this soultion would do updates without prompts i believe...

Stopping automatic updating to FP9
Hi, I have reinstall release 8 because I have problems with release 9 with my old PII. It works perfectly fine with release 8 but I find out that release 8 auto update to the latest version 9xx without any notifications messages or anything ! and the problems reapper. I want to stay with the previous release. How do I stop Flash Player 8 from updating in the background ? Thank

How do I disable the update/patch notification for 9.4.4
the program will work, so have decided to take my chances and not install an update. So how can I stop the notifications for Acrobat updates? If anyone can help I will be grateful because these insistent ... I am unable to install the update 9.4.4 - the error message tells me to re-install Acrobat 9 Pro as there have been changes to the original program. I imagine it is referring to the many updates
