can I install one licence (serial number) on two computers with different OS (Mac / Win) to use one after one? Not in the same time?
Here's the chapter and verse from the Dreamweaver CS6 EULA:
2.1.5 Dual Boot Platform. The Software is licensed for use on a specific operating system platform. Customer must purchase a separate license for use of the Software on each operating system platform. By way of example, if Customer desires to install the Software on both the Mac OS and Windows operating system platforms on a device that runs both of those platforms (i.e., a dual boot machine), then Customer must first obtain two separate licenses for the Software. This is true even if two versions of the Software, each designed for a different operating system platform, are delivered to Customer on the same media.
However, it's different for the Creative Cloud. This is extracted from the Creative Cloud FAQ:
Yes, as a member of Creative Cloud, you get many benefits that you do not get when you purchase a traditional shrinkwrapped product:
Don't quote me but I think you can with the CS6 release.
Creative Cloud only.
It's another one of the added benefits of the Cloud (dual platform licenses) vs. the perpetual licensed versions (which are still platform specific licenses: Mac/Mac or Win/Win only).
Price will be one guaranteed change over time in the Cloud.
The other will be how many of the promised added features and extra products will actually make it into the Cloud as time passes to keep pace with the inevitable price increases.
I've also decided to get some firsthand experience with the Cloud for 2012.
