when I try to work online with y desktop app this window opens up "going online, please wait" - then nothing happens. I already reinstalled Story and Air but the problem still exists. This started after an update a few days ago. Before everything was fine.
Please help, I have to be able to work offline and then go online to sync my work with others.
With the latest update of Story, now it will not be possible for you to work in online mode inside AIR application and use the functionality of online-offline syncing of your data, if you are a free Story user. Though you can work in AIR-offline if you are an existing user on that machine. You should receive a message regarding this at the time of login in AIR app.
So now you can only login to AIR-offline to access your work that is there on your machine while you can use browser app to access your data that is on the cloud.

Okay, but if this is so, why am I being asked to sign-in on using my AIR desktop app at all?
The moment I open the program I am asked to sign in. I'm not given an option to work on or offline.
When I'm signed in a connection is made to the online server, but I'm just taken back to the sign-in page.
Even if my computer is not signed to the internet I have this issue.
All I want to do is use my desktop app, but it's been rendered unusable.
