Exit code 7 when installing CS5.5

I'm having the following error message when installing 5.5

Exit Code: 7

I can get everything except Illustrator to install. I have tried the Support Advisor and all the uninstall advice without success.

    Please try the below suggestions:

     

    Solution 1: Rename the following folders on your machine:

     

    '/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Profiles'

    '/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Recommended'

     

    Solution 2: Rename the following files:

     

    '/Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps/Media_db.db'

    '/Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps/pdb.db'

     

    Make sure you dont touch caps.db under the same folder. Now run the installer again. Let me know if you need more help.
