recurring error message when I try to install on pc running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.

If it stops on fonts, you need to clean them out. That at some point was a problem with CS2 and CS3 suites - fonts would be locked, so they could not be deleted or overwritten by the installer. Here is some guidance on the matter.

I got the same problem. U can just delete the file form:Program files/Program Files(x86)--Common Files--Adobe (all files) and reinstall will be success

Please make sure though that you always attempt to run the proper uninstaller first though.  Just deleting the files for your Adobe applications will likely lead to additional unexpected difficulties.
