Why won't it install?

I downloaded LR 4.0 as an upgrade to 3 for my iMac. When I try to install, the error message I receive is Operation could not be completed (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error-1). What's the problem?

Have you confirmed that your iMac meets the minimum sytem requirements?

Thanks, but I just checked to make sure and under the hardware overview, lists the processor as Intel Core 2 Duo and the other requirements should be okay since I've been running LR 3 with no problems.

What about the OS version....is it 10.6.8 or later?

Jim,

Thanks much, that would be the issue since I haven't upgraded to Snow Leopard. And in reading the negative reviews, am not sure that it's worth it. Again, thanks for your insight.
