Copying and Pasting Issue in Portfolio

Hello,

I am using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and am working on a portfolio. The portfolio is made up of folders of PDFs. For each PDF in the folders I have to be able to add a Description (next to Name when you view as a List), which needs to be the title of the PDF. For some reason, I am unable to copy the title from the PDF and paste into the Description field of the Portfolio. I know I have done this before, so am not sure what is the problem.

When I click in the Description field the copy and paste options on the Edit menu are not available. This is also true when I right click. I am able to type in the field, but as there are a lot of documents that I need to do this for, typing each title individually is not really an option. I know that it is the settings in the Adobe Acrobat that have changed, as I looked at the last portfolio I worked on and this is now a problem there too. I remember having to download an update that involved the Flash player and am wondering if this may be the problem?

If anyone could let me know if there is a setting I am missing or something else I can do to fix this issue? The portfolio will allow me to type in the field but will not give me the paste option.

Edit: I am pretty sure this problem has to do with the Flash Update. When I tried to work on this Portfolio on another machine with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro it would no longer work after the software forced me to update.
