Adobe Drive 2.1.1 update error

I have Mac OSX 10.7 and Adobe Drive 2 installed. When I try to update it to 2.1.1 using the file downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5228 I get the message "update is not applicable". I also have adobe CS5.5 installed. However I can successfully run the Adobe Drive 2.1 update.

    Hi,

     

    This Adobe Drive 2.1.1 update is not applicable here, it is for those people who installed AD 2 directly using Adobe Drive 2.1 full installer instead of Adobe Drive 2.0 full installer

     

    if you want to update your Adobe Drive 2 to Adobe Drive 2.1.1, please install a Creative Suite product and check the updates from Help menu in the application main window. in the pop up AAM update window, you will find the correct Adobe Drive 2.1.1 update pushed to you

     

    It is a flaw in our past Adobe Drive 2.0 and Adobe Drive 2.1 release plan.

    Thanks. I did what you said and updated Adobe Drive 2 to 2.1.1 using AAM from Creative Suite and it worked.

    Is there a particular reason that you're using Adobe Drive 2.x instead of Adobe Drive 3.2?

    We are using Version Cue CS4 for version control. I installed Adobe Drive 3 but it doesnot have the Version Cue connector and I could not find a way for it to connect to Version Cue server without the connector.
