What to be careful about when placing a picture on a two page spread for a yearbook

May 15, 2012 6:22 AM

Hi,

I am designing pages for a yearbook and I plan o using a double page spread with a single image. People's faces will be on the picture and I was cruious if the faces would be cropped or not visible due to multiple page of the yearbook so when it opened pages would not be flat so invisible. What should I do to avoid such problems when desinging?

Any time you have an image crossing the spine you have a possibility of part of that image getting lost in the binding.

Can you show us some samples of waht you are talking about?
