Canon c5185 Color Issues with Indesign/Acrobat

I have been trying to print to our local c5185 Canon printer and every copy printed either comes out with too much magenta or too much yellow in it.

I have tried switching the ICM (Internal Color Management) in both the printer settings and InDesign/Acrobat settings between being used by the program and the printer.

I tried printing as an image at 600 dpi in Acrobat, no luck.

I am also on a Windows 7 (64 bit) computer with CS4 Indesign.

I had tried searching for a solution on the Canon forums, but it seems like I may be the only one having this issue.

Does anyone have any solutions or have they run into this situation before?

Have you actually turned printer color management OFF in the printer control panel? If you want your applications to manage color, you have to turn it off in the printer.

The other problem may be that you don't actually have a good output profile for the printer.
