GIF Image going pixelated once uploaded to web?

Hello All,

 

I have recently made some changes to my website ( not changed the image )

 

These were uploaded. I checked out the uploads and noticed a background image on a table had gone pixelated.

 

This image doesn't show as pixelated in my local folder. Or when i am viewing the html page through dreamweaver or from C drive.

 

I have uploaded the pixelated image again and fault remained.

 

I also have attempted to re-save the image and upload again. But fault remains.

 

Any ideas why this could be happening?

    Need a link really to see what is going on. Sounds like the image is being streatched though. If you set it as a background of an element you can css set it to fill the element, if it is to small it will become pixelated as its blown up.
