Lr 4 & Watermarks

Hi! Brand new to Lr & bought Scott Kelby's book as I have with all Adobe editing software I own. Followed the directions for making a watermark but am not seeing it back in my library. Is it supposed to be there? Watched Matt K's video on it on Adobetv.com & thought maybe the box was not checked allowing the watermark but it is checked...Any help would be greatly appreciated.
