1.) I took a whole bunch of videos with a new 5DM3 and am accessing them through CS5.5. When I click on the .MOV files there is no info displaying in the MetaData panel. Is there someway to see the ISO, Apperture, etc. for the video files?
2.) I also notice in MetaData a section called "Subject Distance" is this really a measurement of how far away the subject was from the lens when the photo was taken? If so, how accurate is it?
It is showing me the MetaData (ISO, Apperture, etc.) for my images, just not my .mov files.
Where do I change the settings for what displays in the MetaData panel? I just checked the Preferences and everything under the Video section is checked off for MetaData Preferences. Is this what you were talking about?
Since you have looked at the video metadata you see it is rather limited. Frame rate, size, etc. And of course this means you camera has to record and send out this info. as metadata.
So you are stuck with that info. Photos have different metadata fields.
