Where has my signed, saved document gone?

I have completed a document, signed and saved it to a location.  When I return to that location the document is not there.  A search of my hard disk shows 'Shortcuts', but not the actual document.

'Search' locates two shortcuts in two separate document folders and there is an Internet Express file shown under the location used to save the document.  Nevertheless on looking in the necessary folders, nothing shows.
