I'm on a Mac and already have CS5.5 Master collection through subscription and I am trying to download CS6 via the Creative Cloud Adobe Application Manager. So far I've managed to download most programs but I still have InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere Pro Family yet to go. I tried downloading InDesign yesterday but I am having the same problem I am having with Photoshop today.
Basically the program downloads and tries to install. The installation gets around halfway and then stops. If I move the mouse around the screen I just have the spinning wheel of death (apple's equivalent of the spinning hour glass).
I have no other programs open, no trial versions of Adobe products and the computer is only a few months old with no other technical issues.
Does anyone know what's going on here? And why does the application manager try to download the software again when it's already downloaded? The application manager only freezes during the installation process so I don't know why the appliacation manager just doesn't try installing again instead of downloading the software again.
AAM wipes the install files, so every time a new download is intiated. The rest can only be clarified by providing the pertinent install logs.
