Encore cs6 bluray project crashes encore at the build start.

I thing there is a bug in the new Encore Cs6. I have created a project in encore cs6 and when trying to build a bluray Encore crashes at the beginning of the build.

When I open the same project in encore cs5.1 it will work fine and complete the build and the burn (though if I am trying to use the same blank disk it will ask for a media even though I cannot see anything written on the blank disk, but it will build and burn just fine with a fresh flank media).

The DVD projects work fine in cs6, it is only the bluray that crashes every time.

    I found that old BD projects do not work well in CS6.

    Make new project, import menu and assets.

    See if that will work, did for me.

    Read the original post before responding. The project WAS made in CS6 and it does crashes in Cs6 when trying to build. When opening the same project in an earlier version - no issues.

    You have a history of non-scenical posts that have nothing to do with the question.

     

    Please read the original post and if you have nothing to say (i.e. never made a BR disk in CS6, which from your previous posts is all the indication you did not) then, do not respond!

    The reason for this post is to confirm the bug with the community, as it is a good practice to eliminate a possibility of a  User Error on my side, before submitting it to Adobe engineers who, I am sure, overwhelmed with more important things.

    If you don't want to answer simple questions that may help someone provide an answer, so be it

    Users (Ann for example) are building successfully in CS6. So the most general version of your problem does not appear to demonstrate a repeatable problem.

     

    What kind of BD project? Assets, menu types, etc.

     

    But that is a very wide range, so I would narrow it down by checking some of what does work for you: can you build a simple menu only BD project? Short single timeline with single menu, etc.

    Upon further investigation I have found that the issue was with a menu. I still qualify this as a bug as the very same project originally created in CS6 will open and work fine in CS5.1.

    Could you share that menu so that someone can identify what is wrong/different with that menu?

    I don't think this would be a general problem because people are building the Blu-ray projects successfully.
