I developed a panel, exported it into photoshop cs6 and it worked fine. I have a good grasp of the concept....the problem is that I saved the panel, reopened it in configurator to change something and now it will not export....I have tried everything including deleteing the folder in panels and re-exporting. HELP!!!!
Here is the error that I get.....
Which kind export do you use?
"File->Export Panel" or "File->Export as CS Extesnsion"?
Can you try : change the panel name and the do a export? If this works, it means the panel is fine and the "export" works.
Then please try to do a new "re-export" test and check whether the "re-export" works or not.
Or you can send your design panel ‘.pgc' file and corresponding ".assets" folder to xuo@adobe.com?
Let us check what's the problem.
Are you facing this on Windows?
If it is Windows, please launch Configurator by "run as Administrator".
If it is Mac, could you please provide me your Mac OS version and locale , your product name/version/locale.
And are you facing this problem each time when you try to do "File->export panel" ?
Hi,
On Mac, are you using as a Non-Administrator user to run Configurator?
Yes, this problem occurs under this situation.
Could you please use "File->Export as CS Extension" feature to export the panel as a "ZXP" file to anothe place like "Desktop", then double click the "ZXP' file to make Extension Manager to installed into the products.
This is a new feature in Configurator 3.
Exman can install the "zxp" file to both Photoshop 32 bit and 64 bit once a time .
And the exported "zxp" files can be submitted to "Adobe Exchange" easily.
Or if you want to use "File->Export panel", then just like what you have done, you need export it into another place and then copy the exported folder into "Plugins/panels" folder.
Thanks

Hi, did you rename or move the folder with the .gpc files? I had the same issue yesterday: untill yesterday morning exporting was no problem. Yesterday afternoon, I moved the folder with the .gpc projects from my (messy) desktop into another location and after that, I couldn't export them anymore. When I create a new panel, I'm able to export it. So I moved the folder to the old location and gave it back the old name and now it works fine again... Weird... But it worked for me.
