Hi There,
i am new to Story and as a prodution assitant very intrested in the use of the tags.
i have a few problems.
1. if I mark e.g. the word "fog" in "thick fog hanging.." the word "hanging" is coming with the tag that I put in weahter phenomenom. Still when I deleted it and tried again "haning" always comes with it. I am using a .astx format.
2. Is there a way to not only count the tags ( animals in one scipt) but say th efirst tag "horses" is 4 horses. Because that is what will be intresting for production side. Any information that I could add to the tags would be helpfull.
3. lets say I tag "horse" in the second scene. Is there a way to let Story look for all the other "horses" in the script and tag them autmotically?
Many Thanks for any tippps and hints.
Sarah

>> Just select the word "fog" and apply tag to it. Make sure that you are not selecting the spaces before or after the word. It should work fine. It seems like you might have selected the space after the word "fog" which is leading to tag getting applied to "hanging" as well.

>> Try using Tag report. In Authoring view toolbar Production -> Breakdown Reports -> Tag... and see if it helps you. It will give you a csv/excel output in which you can enter more information. Also you can create you own tags in the Tags panel, eg "4 horses" and apply it to the word "animals".

>> There is no way to do it as of now. So your best bet would be to use Find toolbar to quickly jump to all the "horses" and then manually tag them.
Thanks

Ideally there should be an option within the program itself to add the number of certain (breakdwon/tagged) items, also usefult fot other categories like extras.
I seem to remember you can do this in other breakdown/scheduling software via a special key (like entering the sequence "keyboard_space/letter x/keyboard_space/number" e.g. "extras x 25").
