document size in cm

I want to set up a default new document by size i.e. cm rather than pixels.  In my old version of the softwarwe I could select inches cm or pixels.  now I can only have pixels

    Which Software do you need to make these changes?

     

    Also please tell your OS.

    Adobe ImageReady 7.0 is the software and the OS is Windows 7

    Adobe ImageReady 7.0 , I used it long time back if my memory serve me well then you can change the units from Pixels to cm by right clicking in the ruler or from Edit-->Preferences options

    I've tried both these options and cannot find anything.  Perhaps I'm so exasperated now I can't see the option.  There doesn't seem anything.
