2 Versions of CS5 Downloaded

May 31, 2012 2:18 PM

I downloaded the trial of CS5 which I subsequently activated.  When I DL'd the program, two versions of PS were available, and, not being sure which was best for my needs, I installed both, the 64-bit version and the 32-bit version.

Is there any difference in the features of the two programs: different tools or abilities?  Is there any reason to keep both on my hard drive?  Thanks!

With 64 bit progam you can use more than the 4 gig of RAM limitation (if you have 64 bit OS).

A number of plugins still only work with 32 bit programs so that give you that option.

Since it is just a trial I would keep both as you could create problems in trying to delete one.  You never want to delete a program, only uninstall, and not sure there is an uninstall option for just 32 bit.
