Authorizing and de-authorizing device

I have ADE 1.8 and while it recognizes my nook I am not able to select "authorize device" or "erase device authorization" (both are gray and cannot be selected).  Unfortunately until I can do this I can't borrow a digital book.  Any ideas or suggestions?

    Hi lwilhelm2,

     

    Have you tried to click on the device icon on the ADE side panel first and then to click the gear options? Since ADE supports multiple devices, it may have to get indication which device need to be operated.
