How do I import my customized common library into Fireworks CS6?
Hmm, good question. You can import symosl via the Document Library options menu.
If you want to completely overwrite the Common Library, I think what you'd do is locate the original Library on your hard drive, rename it and then drop your custom library in the same parent directory, making sure to use the same folder name as the original.
Thanks. I'm looking to have easy access to the symbols I've made on every project I do, so I think I want to add to the Common Library.
Do you know where this original Library is stored on the hard drive? In CS5, it was labeled Common Library in Configuration. I can't seem to find it in CS6.
Sorry to jump in, but I was curious about this myself... It looks like that content has migrated from the application Configuration folder (in CS5.1) to the user Configuration folder (in CS6). So on my MacBook, it's located here:
user/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Fireworks CS6/Common Library

Europe, Middle East and Africa
