I have been installing the photoshop CS6 for about 45 min now and it is very slow. I am not even sure it is moving. Is this normal behavior for the installation of apps from the download manager?

Depends upon your connection to the internet. On a pots line, that would be fine. On a cable modem, it should have finished. DSL depends upon your level of service.

What do you mean? Are you actually referring to the install or just the download? as Michael said, the download speed would depend on your Internet access, but the actual install should only take a few minutes.

It took almost an hour to install on my computer. I finally got it

installed come to find out that my computer OS is not even a compatible OS.

I am running Windows Vista. Maybe that is why. I am going to upgrade to

Windows 7 soon and then I am sure everything will be fine. Thank you for

your respones. I am greatful for this forum and all the answers I found on

it while trying to figure out what the problem was. Lesson learned to check

the compatibility requirements before download and install.
