This morning I updated my Acrobat Pro (for windows) to version 10.1.3 (after my previous version kept on crashing).
What I use Acrobat for the most is cropping a large pdf-page (text and images) to a detail of the original page, then printing the cropped part on a common paper format (usually A4 or A3) using the 'Shrink to printable area' page scaling option.
Up until this morning the print dialog showed how much scaling (percentage) was applied if the document needed to be shrunk to - for instance 80% of the original to fit an A4 page. This was very handy because if the original content is being shrunk too much some text may become unreadable, which allows you to choose a larger output (paper) size if necessary.
Since updating to 10.1.3, I don't find the scaling information anymore in the new print dialog.
Am I being cross-eyed or is it indeed impossible to know how much your document is being scaled?
thanks for any feedback
