How do I import a video into GoLive?

I will create a small video with sound/voice, about a minute or less in length.

I will record that on my Android cell phone, plug that into my iMac, save the video.

Once it's on the iMac, do I need to save it in a specific format?

Do I need to save it in a specific location?

Do I need to find a given plug-in or is that already built in to GoLive?

Is it complicated to import into GoLive?

Anything really tricky I do not yet know enough to ask about?
