Registration window: How to get rid of it

Hello,

After installing the product, I'm asked to register it. I registered it in order to get rid of the annoying window asking me to register the product each time I start it. Still, after at least five successful registrations, the registration window still appears. The same applies if I choose "register later" or "never register". What do I need to do to get rid of the registration window?

The software I'm using is Adobe Premiere Elements v3.0 (B137 - 9/11/2006)[R] on Windows Vista. The software is up to date, no updates are available.

Can you please help me?

I don't know if this will work, but since Vista is "sort of" like Win7 with permissions, right click the program icon to start PreEl and, if the option is there, select Run as Administrator from the option popup

At least with Win7, using the Run as Administrator option fixes some "odd" problems... and is NOT the same as BEING an Administrator

OK... now that we know Vista is like Win7 with permission oddities, you might want to set PreEl to always use that option... http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395
