Why does the CS6 installation create so many useless icons in the launcher on OS Lion? Some the icons are not even named correctly, some are duplicates, and some don't do anything. It's very messy.
Atached are 2 screenshots. Notice the icons for the uninstallers, which are not needed because of the Adobe Application manager. Also notice the duplcation of application icons, (the red ones). For example, Acrobat is listed twice, amongst others. Also notice the Flash folder of icons... what are these for?
This is a very messy setup on OS Lion... it was the same way with CS5.5, and really needs to be cleaned up.
Bug reports get filed away as "as designed" in a case like this. It's not a bug.

As I do not use lauchpad, it was something that I did not notice. However, having looked at it again since the first time in ages, I have to wonder if the issue is Adobe's or Apple's incredibly poorly designed launcher. Personally, I recommend DragThing. Yes it costs money, but I haven't had to pay for an upgrade in more than a decade.
