Converting to .jpg

Jun 12, 2012 10:07 PM

Illlustrator 9.0; have doc with graphics and text; is it possible to convert it to a .jpg that keeps the clarity?  Tried copying over to Photoshop, but it comes out poorly.  Other ways?  Thanks.

What does "clarity" mean? Sounds like you need to educate yourself on the concept of "resolution", commonly referred to as DPI/ PPI and how this affects converting vector information to pixel data. Yeah, sure, from your description you simply use too small image settings, but your description is at best vague. You need to be much more specific about what you try to do and how you do it, including your Photoshop stuff...

    Hikermann,

You can export your document as a .jpg file by going to File > Export and then choose .jpg as your desired output.
