Changing References for Video Files in CS4

So I have an entire Premiere Pro project that uses a huge list of .MTS video files. However - my computer doesn't handle .MTS files very well (Canon's HD compressed format). I used media encoder to convert all of these .MTS files to .MPG files. Practically identical files, just different file format.

 

My Premiere Pro project is referencing ~300 .MTS files, however I want to change the references to my .MPG files. Is there I batch way to do this? I can only find how to change these 1 by 1?
