Puting a slider for an animation

Jun 15, 2012 3:21 AM

Hi,

I want to put an animation  in a PDF

Lets say that there is a machine with an animation for some parts that are moving along an axis.

Besides a button for play and stop the animation, can I place a SLIDER so I can use the mouse to move the parts interactivelly along the axis?

I have no progamming skills.

Thank you

That type of animation would be done with Flash, as it's not possible to move elements on a PDF page. You can show and hide them using layers but can't slide them about.

If you were to create the animation as a SWF file you can include your own controls. If you render it as a video, Acrobat will add a play/scrub control itself.
