Hyperlinks in 10.2.0?

I installed Adobe Reader for Android version 10.2.0 on my Kindle Fire in order for internet hyperlinks to work. According to the product information, this version supports hyperlinks. I have tested the PDF files on my computer and the hyperlinks work just fine, but they fail miserably on my Kindle Fire.

 

What kind of gesture or tapping activates the links? Tapping or tapping and holding just activate editing options. How are hyperlinks activated?
