3D Tool Question

Im creating a movie that has a scene with a fence and a set of double gates opening from the center. Im using the 3D tool to open the gates. The gates open fine but the right gate gets stretched as it opens. The left gate looks fine but I cant get the right gate to stop stretching as it runs. What am I doing wrong?
