Where can I download trial version of Coldfusion 10 Enterprise edition ?
How do you run it? i installed it but I don't see any .exe file to run the program? I used old CF where you would open a program and start writing the code, like Dreamweaver...
Is CF10 acting solely like server or you can actually write code in it? then I assume CF Builder is for writing that code...
I thought there will be Enterprise and Standard versions so you could compare it... so what I installed now is Enterprise and will have all features of that version available ?
Just a quick one, do you think CF Builder has a features? i mean i see there are no new versions since last year...
Yes, to your second question. Like Ray said, the trial edition “is enterprise”, for 30 days at least. After that, if you don’t enter any license key (in the CF Admin) then it will revert to the “Developer” edition, which is also “enterprise” functionality, but limited to only a few IP addresses accessing it (so can’t be used for “production” purposes).
As to your first question, if you’re running on Windows, then CF was likely installed as a service, so “.exe for you to run”. If it is not running as a service, see the Re: Enterprise edition\cfusion\bin directory for startup scripts (like cfstart.bat).
