Trying to update Acrobat X pro on Mac. Keep getting an error 1572. Any help please?

May i know the version of MAC you have?

Have you tried the same using the root user, If not, you can try that and check. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528

Start in Safe Boot mode | Mac OS X : http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/start-safe-boot-mode-mac.htm l

Repair Disk Permissions from Utility->Disk Utility

If still same issue, try re-installing Acrobat X and check.
