Animating Pan & Scan

Am I missing something, or can a Pan & Scan be animated?  Like doing a digital 'push-in'.  The keys seem to only work as hold keys with no linear interpolation between them.

    You can animate mask/grading/Pan&Scan keyframes with hitting the keyframe button twice. The interpolation between both keyframes is shown as an arrow
