Lost Disk

Jun 21, 2012 4:25 PM

Recently we just purchased a new computer and the Adobe Acrobat 7.0 standard would not transfer over. I went to install it into the new computer and the disk was not in the box. I have the update disk that I just recently purchased but the main one is gone. Is there a way to download this from adobe if I have the box with the information on it? I went to Staples and they no longer carry that particular program.

Thank you

Firstly, You said you bought a new computer, so, i am assuming you have got the latest Operating System as well. And if that is true, I am afraid but Acrobat 7 may not be compatible. So, if this is Windows 7 that you have, Acrobat 7 is not coompatible with it.

Secondly, you said that you have the update disk that you had recently purchased. Which version is that? Is that an upgrade to next version (8/9)? Because updates to Adobe programs are free.

Acrobat 7 is an very old version (2005). This is not available on Adobe.com. You possible need to buy Acrobat X now.
