hello illustrators
im trying to find a way to expand my mesh object.i have made multiple lines that i would like
to use seperatly.but when i got to object, the expand feature is greyed out.can meshes expand?
im trying to make a mesh like a 3d model.so the mesh give s a nice smooth transtition.
thank you.
Gradient Meshes can not be expanded.
That being posted.. I'm not sure what you are expecting to produce. Gradient Meshes by nature can create "nice smooth transitions". That's one primary reason for using Gradient Meshes.
Perhaps you should give more detail on what you are trying to achieve.
hello scott.
i was just wandering if there was some kind of technique within illustrator to make a model type of feature like the one i have posted,
giving it a realistic look to it,as if it was actualy modeled in a real 3d application.im looking into illustrators 3d tool, but they seem too basic.
its odd id say how photoshop has 3d within the program, and its not an actual design program.where as illustrator im my personal opinion should
be more advanced in this matter.
