Previous View navigation Button no longer available in Adobe Pro X.

Jun 25, 2012 7:14 AM

I recently started using Adobe Pro X (10) and discovered that the 'previous view' button no longer exists in the quick access toolbar.  If I add the 'previous view' button to the quick access toolbar, it is greyed out.  I therefore cannot navigate from document A to document B back to document A.  Any solution?  I need to be able to do this for electronic submissions in the pharma industry.

    It's available in the toolbar

Right mouse click the toolbar and you should get the opportunity to add the button.

    Hi,

This is fixed in newer versions i.e. XI. We are still working to fix this for version X.

    Regards,

    Deepak

Can you please tell me the version of Acrobat at your end? It's working at my end on Acrobat X Pro V 10.1.6.

    acrobat 10.1.6 does not work.

When a link to another document is clicked, it opens the document in a new window. To return to the previous page, the newly opened document window has to be closed. This is different than the previous Acrobat version, that swapped to the linked file as bookmarked, with the previous button to return to the linked from file. Now the previous button does not return to the previous file, the previous button is grayed out. So the issue is still the same.
