I recently started using Adobe Pro X (10) and discovered that the 'previous view' button no longer exists in the quick access toolbar. If I add the 'previous view' button to the quick access toolbar, it is greyed out. I therefore cannot navigate from document A to document B back to document A. Any solution? I need to be able to do this for electronic submissions in the pharma industry.
Thank you. I was able to do add the 'previous view' button to the toolbar, however, it's greyed out. Try creating a link in document A that goes to the 2nd page of document B. When you get to document B after clicking the link in document A, let me know if you can use the 'previous view' button to go back to document A.
acrobat 10.1.6 does not work.
When a link to another document is clicked, it opens the document in a new window. To return to the previous page, the newly opened document window has to be closed. This is different than the previous Acrobat version, that swapped to the linked file as bookmarked, with the previous button to return to the linked from file. Now the previous button does not return to the previous file, the previous button is grayed out. So the issue is still the same.
