When I click organiser on the welcome screen a notice appears "Elements Organiser is not currently licenced. Please launch PE Editor to update the licencing information". When I click on the box nothing happens. I have tried all the different menu's but cannot locate anything that resembles a licencing box. Please can someone tell me what to do? should I uninstall the entire program and reinstall it again. Would I have to deactivate the program? I'm really at a loss as to know what to do. The PE editor works perfectly.

Thanks for replying.
Yes Photoshop Editor works perfectly. When I click on the Organiser button on the editor screen the same messages come up as in the Welcome screen.
I do not use Organizer very much at the moment but now need to clean up my "My Pictures" library.
When I connect my camera to the computer it will download to the Organizer but the same messages then come up preventing any access to the Organizer.
Quite frustrating really so I'll appreciate very much any input you can give me
Well, considering that there is no licensing for organizer, I would just avoid this by not using the welcome screen and making a shortcut to launch organizer directly from its .exe file.
Organizer is not affected by activation/registration so that you won't lose access to your photos. Only editor has licensing/activation on it.
The only thing in organizer that could possibly be affected is a photoshop.com account. Have you tried disabling all syncing?
-no need to uninstall , no need to deactivate
-close PSE Editor and organizer
-if your working on windows> check task manager if editor is running under processes and end process
try this:
-on the welcome screen click on edit
-the editor screen click on help tab, click on product registration>check if there is an option to provide serial number
Windows sytem 7
PSE Version 10
Yes it worked on the downloaded trial version from Adobe but seems that when I keyed in the serial number after purchasing the product from my local store it did not work.
I thought I would simply uninstall the product and start again from the purchased DVD but when I went to deactivate the program that would not work as well.
I wonder if I simply go throught the unistalling program and reinstall but will the serial number that I have for the product work?
I might add that the editor part of the program is working perfectly. I shoulkd be able to talk directly with an Adobe technician but I don't know where to contact them in New Zealand. Ken, or someonne else out there, I hope you can give me some direction. Many thanks Peter
