Organiser not currently licenced!

Jun 26, 2012 9:04 PM

When I click organiser on the welcome screen a notice appears "Elements Organiser is not currently licenced.  Please launch PE Editor to update the licencing information".  When I click on the box  nothing happens.  I have tried all the different menu's but cannot locate anything that resembles a licencing box.  Please can someone tell me what to do?  should I uninstall the entire program and reinstall it again.  Would I have to deactivate the program?  I'm really at a loss as to know what to do.  The PE editor works perfectly.

Is the same thing happening when you click on the Organizer button in the Editor or only from the Welcome screen? What version are you using?

Just a supposition : did you have an older PSE or PE version installed before on this computer? If so, maybe a service to lauch an older version of the organizer is still active ?

Well, considering that there is no licensing for organizer, I would just avoid this by not using the welcome screen and making a shortcut to launch organizer directly from its .exe file.

Organizer is not affected by activation/registration so that you won't lose access to your photos. Only editor has licensing/activation on it.

The only thing in organizer that could possibly be affected is a photoshop.com account. Have you tried disabling all syncing?

-no need to uninstall , no need to deactivate

    -close PSE Editor and organizer

-if your working on windows> check  task manager if editor is running under  processes and end process

    try this:

-on the welcome screen click on edit

-the  editor screen click on help tab, click on product registration>check if there is an option to provide serial  number

In Windows, create a new standard user account, reboot, log in to that new account, and see if PSE works.

I am having the same problem i.e., Elements Organizer not currently registered.  Used to work, but  not now.

Using Adobe Premiere Elements, version 10 on Windows 7

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers
