Why can't I access to website to install updates to CS6 to my laptop, while I could do this with my desktop.  Same version of windows, security software and home networking on both.  Home networking was not used.  Please help.

    And what erros are you getting exactly? What version of Windows are you using? You need to be more specific. In any case,  there's a good chance you may need to uninstall everything, run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and start from scratch. Something has very likely locked/ tainted the installer database and there is no other easy way to rebuild it.

    Windows 7 Home Premium, Version 6.1, build 7601: Service Pack 1.

     

    I think that this happened with CS5 but I never did anything about it.

    I thought that this converstion was closed because I couldn't find it on June 29, so I opened a new conversation and posed my question again including, mentioning that the message which I received from update site said approximately:  etther the site was closed, my  browser settings should be changed, or my security settings changed.  I received a response to the new post from you saying that I should use the Network and Sharing Center to disable the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter.  I did this on June 30, it worked and I was able to download the updates.  I reported this on the other conversation on June 30.

     

    I believe that the problem has been solved.  Thank you for your assistance.  I apologize for any confusion.
