select tool not working In Flash Pro CS6

When trying to move an object with the select tool iy makes a copy instead of moving it. How do I stop it. I'm on a late 2010 Macbook pro 17" with8 gigs ram.

    So know one has had this problem? This is getting really frustrating

    Check whether the ALT key is pressed. Objects will be duplicated when do the ALT + drag.

    The alt key isn't pressed physically, is there a setting in press that could be selected

    I am having the same issue, and it's driving me crazy!! Every time I use the select tool to move something, it copies it instead. I have to use arrow keys to move. I have no option (or alt) key depressed.

     

    Is anyone else experiening this problem? Has anyone found a fix?
