Hello everyone,
Hopefully, someone can point me in the right direction. I have seen many light box scripts/programs including the lightbox image gallery from the widget browser. However, I am wondering if using such lightbox programs/scripts would be overkill for what I am trying to do. Basically, I am building a website to get rid of my duplicates in my record collection. I plan to have thumbnails (100 px by 100 px) to the left which text in the middle describing the record and then paypal buttons to the right for purchase. One page could have 10 to 100 items/rows or even more. I want visitors to be able to see a bigger picture (300 by 300?) of the album cover either when they hover over or click on the 100 by 100 thumb nail. I don't need anything fancy, no transitions, don't have to gray the rest of the page out. I have seen ways to do this in strictly CSS that don't use any type of javascript, but they seem to involve preloading of the hidden/popup images and probably increases page size considerably. I am guessing the lightbox gallery widget is more for showing a gallery of pictures, not something that has text and other stuff going on. I am basically looking for the simplist, quickest way to do this and be able to add new items/images with same pop up function
See below to get an idea of what the page looks like
