Text over a video?

Is it possible to place text over a video? When i place text over a video, it appears as if it is sent to the back, behind the video when played in the contents viewer. Is it possible to keep the text on the top?

I have tried the following:

1. grouping the video and the text.

2. Putting the text on a layer above the video

It’s called an overlay for a reason. The only way to put something over an object on an overlay is to turn it into one.

In this case you can convert the text to a two state MSO with two identical states.

Set it to autoplay once.
