Page Curl SWF displays large grey area in browser

Jul 3, 2012 1:29 PM

Hello, I have an InDesign CS5 document that I'm exporting to SWF. I selected the interactive page curl dialog box upon output.

In Flash player, the file performs correctly. However, when viewed in a browser, the same file displays with a gigantic grey area all around it. (the file was exported 1024x768, the same resolution as my browser.)

If I turn off page curl, the file displays properly in my browser, no grey area outside.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

You have to edit the HTML page holding the .swf. The .swf can have a background color and the body of the HTML page also has a background color. By default it's gray, if you want white you need to change #999999 to #FFFFFF for both:
