upgrade problems from  Master Collection CS5 to 6

I have bought an upgrade fromMaster Collection 5 to 6 and the 6 serial no works but then the instructions say my current software is not qualifying. I have tried to enter the original serial no's of which there are 3 as it was a boxed collection, not a download and it won't accept? any suggestions?

    You will want to make sure and first enter your Master Collection CS6 serial number followed by your Master Collection CS6 serial number.  You can also locate your serial numbers, if registered, by following the directions listed in http://forums.adobe.com/message/3987968#3987968.

     

    If you still have problems you may want to try removing your previously installed Adobe products.  It is possible you may have a permission issue with your Adobe PCD and caps folder which could also lead to the serial number not being accepted.
