Hi there.
I'm very used to work with Premiere Pro CS4, After Effects CS4 and all Adobe package.
Now I'm having for the 1st time an issue while trying to export my movie from Adobe PRemiere.
Doing all default actions, I go to : File > Export > Movie.
But AME just doesn't launch. I got the Upper Menu "File" button highlighted, and that's all.
What is going on? I have to delivery a company movie project, my all movie has just 8 minutes, all things set up.
Thanks!!!

As a test, can you manually launch AME (Adobe Media Encoder)?
It is a stand-alone program (as of CS4), but is also usually invoked/launched from within PrPro. However, it can be launched separately, and pointed to your Project>Sequence, to function fully. This will test if AME can launch.
Good luck,

It's not working yet. ![]()
I habe Premiere and Media Encoder launched.
Then I go to File>Export>Media on Premiere and nothing happens...
I didn't get what you said about 'pointing to my my Project>Sequence'.
Is there a way to "force" adobe premiere to export this file? I'm really in trouble if it doesn't works!
This is a shoot screen of Encoder. Nothing happens...
And this is Premiere...see the Menu? It gets like this, and absolutely nothing happens...
No problem. You explained very well, maybe should changed the word "pointed" to "imported". eheh
That was what really made the difference for me to try it: when I realize I could import the Premiere Project> Sequence to AME.
If I knew it was so easy, wouldn't be bothering you guys here!
eheh
Thanks again!

Paulo,
Good point (no pun intended). Will consider that next time. Thanks.
So long as you now have things working, so as to finish the Project, things are good.
And, do not worry, it was not a bother, in any way. We just want you to be able to get back to your Project, and get it done.

Rod,
I could almost imagine Boz Scaggs signing, "Love, look what you've done to me... " You were on a roll there, dude! ![]()
Now, you are correct. Adobe is trying to gather a lot of data from the forums. I questioned a few of the buttons (to pick and choose), but was told that they all WERE connected somewhere. It sort of reminds me of a few of the social media sites, and as I spend almost zero time there, do not quite see the functionality. However, Adobe has committed themselves to really helping out the forums, so the more data that we can all provide them, perhaps the easier their job will be, and the better the forums will get. At least I'm hoping.
Thanks for pointing that out.
